In this module, you'll design a dedicated mobile app and a responsive website focused on social good. You'll learn about designing across devices through progressive enhancement and graceful degradation approaches and the 4Cs. You'll begin your portfolio project by working through the empathize phase (creating personas, user stories, and user journey maps), the define phase (identifying user needs and building problem statements), and the ideate phase (conducting competitive audits and sketching ideas for your mobile app design).

In this module, you'll learn how to create a strong professional presence as a UX designer. You'll start building a portfolio to showcase your work and learn about developing a personal brand. The module covers writing best practices for portfolios, building an online presence, creating and updating social media profiles, getting involved in UX design communities, networking, finding mentors, and overcoming impostor syndrome.

In this final module, you'll prepare to find a job as a new UX designer. You'll make final adjustments to your portfolio to ensure it's ready for job applications. You'll examine the UX design interview process and develop strategies for different types of interviews including pre-interview research, elevator pitches, phone screens, portfolio presentations, whiteboard exercises, and take-home design exercises. The module also explores freelancing, including creating a business plan and landing your first client. Additionally, you'll learn about using AI to enhance your UX design skills and workflow.
