Specializing in Information Security and Digital Forensics, he has numerous research papers published in prestigious conferences and journals. Beyond academia, Dr. Kumar is actively engaged in research and consultancy, regularly conducting hands-on workshops, technical talks, and training sessions for academic institutions, researchers, law enforcement agencies, and the judiciary. As a technical expert, he contributes to government committees establishing cyber forensic labs for law enforcement. He is a life member of CSI, ISTE, ISCA, and IAE, and a senior member of ACM.
