Beyond academia, Dr. Kumar is actively engaged in research and consultancy, regularly conducting hands-on workshops, technical talks, and training sessions for academic institutions, researchers, law enforcement agencies, and the judiciary. As a technical expert, he contributes to government committees establishing cyber forensic labs for law enforcement. He is a life member of CSI, ISTE, ISCA, and IAE, and a senior member of ACM.
