Yvonne "Bonnie" Maldonado serves as Senior Associate Dean for Faculty Development and Diversity at Stanford School of Medicine, where she has revolutionized pediatric infectious disease research and education since 1988. Born to Mexican immigrants in Los Angeles and the first in her family to attend college, she completed her medical education at Stanford and fellowship training at Johns Hopkins before joining the CDC as an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer. As Chief of Stanford's Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Director of the Global Child Health Program, she has built an extraordinary career spanning clinical care, research, and public health leadership. Her research focuses on viral vaccine development, perinatal HIV prevention, and most recently, COVID-19 epidemiology, leading over ten studies during the pandemic. She founded Stanford's pediatric HIV Clinic and has published over 200 peer-reviewed articles while co-editing major textbooks in infectious diseases. Magali Fassiotto, Ph.D., serves as Associate Dean for Faculty Development and Diversity at Stanford Medicine, where she directs programs focused on faculty advancement, professional development, and diversity initiatives. After earning her undergraduate degree in Economics from Harvard University and Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from Stanford Graduate School of Business, she built her career in organizational research and strategic program design. Before joining Stanford Medicine, she worked as a researcher at the National Bureau of Economic Research and as a consultant at Ernst & Young and Investor Group Services. In her current role, she leads workshops on leadership in academic medicine, effective mentorship, team building, and inclusive practices while overseeing the integration of diversity and inclusion initiatives across Stanford Medicine. Her research contributions span faculty development, unconscious bias, leadership, and organizational identity, with numerous publications advancing understanding of faculty diversity and professional development in academic medicine.

Rebecca Adler has established herself as an accomplished instructional designer specializing in corporate and community education programs. Blending her background in journalism and adult education with technical expertise, she creates comprehensive learning solutions across multiple modalities including instructor-led, virtual, and e-learning formats. Her design philosophy emphasizes the natural transfer of knowledge and skills to real-world applications, focusing on creating engaging learning experiences that integrate business goals with learner needs. Through her work with organizations like CompTIA/AITP and various Fortune 100 clients, she has developed diverse projects ranging from personal branding workshops to multi-modal learning platforms. Her expertise includes developing mobile sales training, law enforcement education programs, and inclusion initiatives, demonstrating her ability to create effective learning solutions across different sectors. As an independent consultant, she continues to bring innovation to instructional design while maintaining her commitment to making learning both natural and exciting for adult learners.

Odette Harris serves as Professor of Neurosurgery at Stanford University School of Medicine and Director of the Brain Injury Program, making history as America's second Black female professor of neurosurgery. Born in Jamaica and educated at Dartmouth College before earning her MD from Stanford and MPH from UC Berkeley, she has established herself as a leading expert in traumatic brain injury care and research. As Director of Brain Injury at Stanford Medical Center and Deputy Chief of Staff for Rehabilitation at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System, she manages complex trauma cases while implementing innovative treatment protocols to improve patient outcomes. Her leadership extends beyond clinical care through her role as Vice Chair of Diversity for Stanford's Department of Neurosurgery and her appointment to the National Football League Head, Neck and Spine Committee. Despite facing significant barriers in a field where Black women represent just 0.585% of neurosurgeons nationwide, Harris has earned numerous honors including recognition on Forbes' and Ebony Magazine's Power 100 List and the National Medical Fellowships Award for Excellence in Academic Medicine. Through her work at Stanford, she continues to advance neurosurgical care while mentoring the next generation of medical professionals and advocating for greater diversity in medicine.
