Sadie St. Lawrence is the Founder and CEO of the Human Machine Collaboration Institute (HMCI), where she spearheads initiatives aimed at enhancing the synergy between humans and machines in the era of artificial intelligence. Under her leadership, HMCI collaborates with leading public and private organizations to foster innovation in knowledge work through AI technologies. Before establishing HMCI, Sadie founded Women in Data™, a global nonprofit organization that has made significant strides in supporting women in the data profession, boasting a community of over 70,000 members across 55 countries. Her diverse background includes expertise in piano performance, psychology, and data science, complemented by over a decade of experience in AI strategy and neuroscience research. Sadie's contributions to the field have earned her numerous accolades, including recognition as one of DataIQ's Top 100 Most Influential People in Data for 2024 and inclusion in Dataleum’s 30 Outstanding Women in Data for 2023. She also serves on the White House Council for Equitable Data and AI Training and hosts the award-winning Data Bytes podcast.
