William Shutkin serves as the Faculty Director and Teaching Professor in the Masters of the Environment program at the University of Colorado Boulder, where he leads the Urban Resilience and Sustainability specialization. He also played a pivotal role in producing "The Sustainable City" podcast, engaging with leading sustainability experts and reaching a broad audience. Additionally, in collaboration with the Boulder County Housing Authority, he consulted on strategies for resilience and community engagement following disasters, contributing to research on affordable housing and wildfire resilience. His involvement with the Transformations Community further highlights his dedication to systemic change in sustainability practices.
