The EMBA admission process at IIM Amritsar follows a comprehensive assessment approach. Term I covers Managing People and Organisations, Managerial Economics, Financial Reporting and Analysis, Quantitative Methods, and Essentials of Marketing. Term II includes Business Computing, Managerial Communication, Operations Research, Advanced Marketing Management, and Macro Economics and Policy. Term III focuses on Talent Management & Development, Legal Aspects of Business, Business Research and Methods, Operations Management, and Financial Management. Term IV explores Competition and Strategy, Consumer Behaviour, Security Analysis and Portfolio Management, plus two electives. Term V encompasses Business Intelligence and Digital Transformation, Business, Society, and Public Policy, Sales and Distribution Management, an elective, and an Integrated Field Project. Term VI concludes with Business Ethics, Capstone Simulation, Strategic Leadership and Decision-making, two electives, and continuation of the Integrated Field Project. Specialized elective tracks include Finance, Marketing, HR, Operations Management, Strategic Management, and IT Systems.

The payment structure offers flexibility through six installments: Initial payment of ₹2,00,000 (divided into Part A: ₹58,000 and Part B: ₹1,42,000) followed by five equal installments of ₹2,00,000 each.
