Barry McCarthy is a Senior Teaching Fellow in Accounting at the School of Management, with expertise in Accounting, Financial Management, and Performance Management. He holds a Master’s degree from the University of Essex and an undergraduate degree from London Guildhall University. With over 15 years of experience as a management consultant in the financial services industry, Barry has a wealth of knowledge in optimizing business efficiency and fostering strategic business growth, particularly with startups and SMEs. He has taught at various UK institutions, including Birkbeck, London South Bank University, and the Open University. A Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, he has collaborated with professional accountancy bodies to create vocational courses. His research focuses on cognitive mapping, financial decision-making tools for SMEs, and performance management in the public sector. He is also the editor and author of two Pearson Custom textbooks.

Bart Vanneste is an Associate Professor of Strategy in the Strategy & Entrepreneurship group at the UCL School of Management. His research focuses on corporate strategy, with his work published in top-tier journals like Academy of Management Review, Organization Science, Strategic Management Journal, and Strategy Science. He is the author of Corporate Strategy: Tools for Analysis and Decision-Making, a key resource in the field. Bart is also a highly respected educator, having received the Management Best Teacher Award at UCL. He holds a Ph.D. in Strategic & International Management from the London Business School and has previously been on the faculty at INSEAD.

Catherine Clarke is a Professor and Director of the Centre for the History of People, Place and Community at the Institute of Historical Research, School of Advanced Study, University of London. Her work spans history, identity, and heritage, with a focus on the contemporary uses of the past. Catherine’s interdisciplinary approach integrates creative and practice-led methodologies, and she actively collaborates with partners beyond academia. She has published extensively on her research themes, exploring place and identity through both traditional scholarship and innovative co-production projects.

Charlotte Crilly is a Teaching Fellow on the University of London Undergraduate Laws Programme and an Associate Lecturer and Consultant at the Open University. She has also taught at BPP University Law School and has a wealth of legal experience, having worked as a qualified solicitor in private practice and as an Advisory Lawyer in Government. Charlotte spent several years in the Public Law team at the Law Commission and has freelanced as a Legal Research and Policy Consultant. With an LLM from University College London and an MA in Jurisprudence from the University of Oxford, she is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

Chris Mitchell has been a Professor of Computer Science at Royal Holloway, University of London since 1990, where he co-founded the influential Information Security Group. He played a pivotal role in creating the groundbreaking MSc in Information Security, which launched in 1992. With a BSc and PhD in Mathematics from Westfield College, University of London, Chris transitioned from industry, where he worked on encryption and network security at Racal Comsec and Hewlett-Packard Labs. Over his career, he has published more than 250 research papers and has been actively involved in cyber security standardisation for over 35 years, serving as editor for over 20 ISO/IEC standards. Additionally, he co-edits the journal Designs, Codes and Cryptography and has supervised over 30 PhD students.

Dilara Scholz is currently pursuing her PhD in the Department of History at Royal Holloway, where she also serves as a Visiting Tutor. She holds both a BA (Hons) in History and International Relations and an MA in Public History from Royal Holloway. Her research interests center on the material culture of death in the nineteenth century and the history of emotion. Dilara teaches courses such as "Mao to Mandela: Twentieth Century Leaders of the Non-Western World" on campus and "The Camera Never Lies" for the University of London Worldwide and Coursera. She is an active member of the Royal Historical Society and the Association of Dress Historians.

Dominic is a lecturer in Marketing at Royal Holloway, University of London, where he leads modules such as Marketing Strategy and Digital Consumer Culture. He earned his PhD from Plymouth University, an MBA from the University of Wales, and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics & Philosophy from the University of Ghana. His research focuses on consumer purchase intentions in digitally disrupted markets and strategies for building resistance to brand switching. Dominic has published widely in academic journals and books, including the International Journal of Consumer Behaviour, International Journal of Retailing & Consumer Services, Journal of Sustainability, and the Interdisciplinary Journal of Economics & Business Law. With extensive experience in the financial services industry, he worked at State Insurance Company in Ghana and both GIA Insurance and Ghana International Bank in the UK before entering academia. He is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) and a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), Chartered Institute of Insurance (CII), and the British Academy of Management (BAM).

James is an Assistant Professorial Lecturer in Statistics at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), where he earned his PhD in Statistics in 2010 with a thesis titled "To p, or not to p?" He teaches large service-level undergraduate courses in mathematical statistics and quantitative methods, alongside elective courses in market research. His research interests span market research techniques and forensic statistics, exploring the intersection of statistics and the law. Dr. Edward Anstead is an Associate Lecturer in the Department of Computing at Goldsmiths, University of London, where he has been a faculty member since September 2016. Simon Katan is a digital artist with a rich background in music and a deep interest in games and play. His artistic work features hidden mechanisms, emergent behavior, paradoxes, self-reference, inconsistency, abstract humor, absurdity, and a sense of wonder. Katan develops software that leads users on musical journeys through animated worlds and designs games that transform players into unwitting performers of quirky and sometimes absurd rituals. In recognition of his creative contributions, he received a Prix Ars Electronica Honorary Mention in 2012 and has collaborated with various organizations across Europe, including IEM in Graz, ZKM in Karlsruhe, the Borealis Festival in Bergen, the Royal Opera House, Roundhouse, Spitalfields Festival, and Tyneside Cinema. His current research focuses on leveraging machine learning and co-adaptation in the performing arts to enhance accessibility for diverse audiences.

Dr. Plesch serves as the Director of the Centre for International Studies and Diplomacy at SOAS University of London. He is the author of several influential books, including Human Rights After Hitler, America, Hitler and the UN (co-authored with Thomas G. Weiss), Wartime Origins and the Future UN, and The Beauty Queen's Guide to World Peace. Currently, he collaborates with UN agencies on public policy research concerning global governance reform and world disarmament, recently co-editing a paper on disarmament with the UN Office of Disarmament Affairs. Notably, he led a research group that successfully restored the role of women from the Global South in advancing gender equality in the UN Charter. His scholarly contributions to UN history have earned high praise, with Brian Urquhart, the inventor of Peacekeeping, describing them as "magnificent," while Ben Ferencz, a prosecutor of Nazis at Nuremberg, labeled his work on the WWII war crimes trials as an "eye opener." At the CISD, he convenes the flagship MA in International Studies and Diplomacy and spearheaded the introduction of Online Masters programs. Dr. Plesch studied history at Nottingham and gained professional qualifications in social work and public administration from Bristol in 1979 and 1980. Outside academia, Dr. Plesch has served as a consultant and advisor to various organizations, including the UK and US governments, BBC, CNN, Sky News, Kroll Security International, Oxfam, the Foreign Policy Centre, and Greenpeace. He was also an independent advisor to the UK government's Department of Constitutional Affairs on the Freedom of Information Act. Additionally, he has delivered keynote addresses on significant topics, including the 7/7 bombings and renewable energy. His writings have been featured in esteemed publications such as the New York Times, Washington Post, Financial Times, The Times, The Guardian, and New Statesman.

Dr. James Ohene-Djan has over nine years of teaching experience at the undergraduate level in the Department of Computing at Goldsmiths, where he has excelled in developing, preparing, and delivering courses on telecommunications, database systems, electronic commerce, computer programming, and information systems. His commitment to educational excellence was recognized in 2004 when he received the Goldsmiths Award for the Development of Learning and Teaching. Currently, Dr. Ohene-Djan holds several administrative roles within the department, including Department Senior Tutor and Schools Liaison Officer. His areas of supervision encompass adaptive and personalizable hypermedia, hypertext telecommunications systems, e-commerce, user interface design, and web-based database systems, demonstrating his diverse expertise and dedication to advancing the field of computing education.
