Dr. Brian Caffo is a professor in the Department of Biostatistics at the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health, having earned his PhD from the Department of Statistics at the University of Florida in 2001. His expertise spans computational statistics and neuroinformatics, and he played a key role in establishing the SMART working group. His exceptional contributions to science and education have been recognized with prestigious honors, including the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers (PECASE), as well as the Bloomberg School of Public Health's Golden Apple and AMTRA teaching awards, highlighting his excellence in both research and education.
