Deepak Somaya is a Professor of Business Administration at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where he also holds the Diane and Steven N. Miller Professorship and serves as an Edwards Scholar. He specializes in business strategy, corporate strategy, and technology strategy, with a keen focus on how firms leverage their knowledge assets for competitive advantage. Deepak earned his PhD in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley, and has since contributed significantly to the fields of strategy and entrepreneurship.
