Denise Lewin Loyd is the Associate Dean for Equity and a Professor of Business Administration at the Gies College of Business, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. In her role, she leads initiatives focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within the college, demonstrating a strong commitment to fostering an equitable academic environment. Professor Loyd teaches courses such as "Leading Teams: Building Effective Team Cultures" and "Leading Teams: Developing as a Leader," where she integrates her expertise in organizational behavior with practical leadership training.
