About Me

Dr. Swaminathan J. serves as the Chairperson of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and is a Professor at the School of Computing, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham's Amritapuri campus. With an M.Tech and Ph.D., he brings nearly 25 years of experience, including over a decade at Wipro Technologies in various roles such as software engineer and project manager. His research interests include algorithms, program analytics, software verification, and full-stack development. Passionate about teaching, Dr. Swaminathan mentors students in computational thinking and competitive programming, leading initiatives like the ACM Code @Amrita club. He has authored around 30 research publications and actively contributes to curriculum design and faculty mentoring at Amrita.
