About Me

Dr. Ekant Sharma is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India. His research primarily focuses on designing optimization algorithms for next-generation wireless communication systems that aim to deliver multi-gigabit data rates while significantly enhancing energy consumption and spectrum utilization. He obtained his Ph.D. and M.Tech. degrees from IIT Kanpur, India, within the Signal Processing, Communication, and Networks Group in the Electrical Engineering department.
