About Me

Kallol Mondal is a Professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at IIT Kanpur, with a Ph.D. from IIT Kharagpur. His research expertise includes the corrosion and oxidation behavior of metallic glasses, nanocrystalline alloys, steels, and magnesium alloys. He is also involved in phase transformations, developing high toughness, low-cost steels, and researching nanoporous metals and ceramics templates. His work contributes significantly to materials science, especially in improving the durability and performance of metallic and ceramic materials.
