About Me

Marc Badia serves as Deputy Dean of IESE Business School and is a full professor in the Department of Accounting and Control, where he oversees both the MBA and MiM programs on IESE's Executive Committee. He holds a Ph.D. in Financial Accounting from Columbia University (New York). His research has been published in leading academic journals, including the Journal of Accounting and Economics, Journal of Accounting Research, The Accounting Review, and Contemporary Accounting Research. Beyond his academic work, he has extensive consulting experience in business valuation and quantitative trading strategies based on fundamentals. He currently serves on the board of directors of a family-owned company.
