About Me

Michael Bednar is an Associate Professor of Business Administration at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where he also serves as the Director of Experiential Learning and holds the Robert & Karen May Faculty Fellow title. He earned his PhD in Strategic Management from the University of Texas at Austin and has been a member of the faculty since 2008. His teaching focuses on organizational design and management, with courses such as "Designing the Organization" and "Managing the Organization," where he emphasizes practical applications that prepare students for real-world challenges.
