About Me

Rajesh Sathiyamoorthy, a Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at IIT Kanpur, holds a Ph.D. from IIT Bombay. His research focuses on numerical and physical modeling techniques, environmental geotechnology, ground improvement techniques, and unsaturated soil mechanics. He is also involved in applying remote sensing and GIS in geotechnical engineering, particularly for analyzing and improving ground conditions and soil behavior in various environmental contexts.
