About Me

Dr. Rudi Thompson is an Associate Professor and UNT Distinguished Teaching Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of North Texas. With over 30 years of teaching experience spanning from PreK to adult learners, she is dedicated to fostering educational excellence. In her role as Assistant Vice President of Digital Strategy and Innovation and Executive Director of the Center for Learning Experimentation, Application, and Research (CLEAR), Dr. Thompson focuses her research on the barriers and intersections between teaching and learning in the field of science. Her innovative approach aims to enhance the educational experience for all students at UNT.
