About Me

Sudib Kumar Mishra, a Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at IIT Kanpur, holds a Ph.D. from the University of Arizona, Tucson, USA. His research focuses on stochastic, reliability-based, and robust optimization of structures, as well as reliability and safety assessments. His work also includes passive devices for seismic vibration control, damage detection and health monitoring of structures, and computational modeling of smart, self-healing materials. Additionally, he explores multiscale and multiphysics modeling in mechanics and materials.
