Dr. Tong Sun, an adjunct professor in Computing Security at Rochester Institute of Technology and leader of the data analytics research lab at PARC, Xerox Company, specializes in machine learning, social media data mining, distributed service computing, and cybersecurity. With a Ph.D. in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Rhode Island and an MS in Artificial Intelligence from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Dr. Sun has contributed significantly to modeling user interests and community interactions using machine learning.
