Ujjal Kumar Mukherjee is an Associate Professor of Business Administration at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where he specializes in operations management and business analytics. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration and an M.S. in Statistics from the University of Minnesota, along with an MBA from Xavier Institute and a Bachelor of Engineering from Jadavpur University. Since joining UIUC in 2015, Professor Mukherjee has been dedicated to enhancing the educational experience of his students through innovative teaching methods and practical applications of theoretical concepts.Professor Mukherjee teaches courses such as "Operations Management: Organization and Analysis" and "Operations Management: Quality and Supply Chain," focusing on the critical aspects of supply chain management and operational efficiency. His research interests include predicting failures of high-tech innovations, technology adoption in healthcare, and the integration of analytics in business processes. He has published extensively in leading academic journals and has received several grants for his research initiatives.
