Mr. R. Sudarshan
Mr. R. Sudarshan is a Professor and Dean, as well as the Executive Director of the Centre for Global Governance and Policy. He holds a B.A. (Hons.) in Economics from Bangalore University, an M.A. in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics, and an M.Phil. in Politics from the University of Oxford.
Prof. (Dr.) Vivek U. Padvetnaya
Prof. (Dr.) Vivek U. Padvetnaya is a trained medical doctor and serves as a Professor and Associate Dean at the Jindal School of Government and Public Policy. He earned his M.B.B.S. from the University of Mysore, a Diploma in Business Management from ICFAI University, an M.Sc. in Health Policy, Planning, and Financing from the London School of Economics and the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, and a D.Phil. in Public Health (Political-Economy) from the University of Oxford. Before joining JSGP, he was an associate professor at the Public Health Foundation of India and has extensive experience in development management. His research focuses on improving public health services for underserved populations by addressing various barriers to access.
Prof. (Dr.) Debajit Jha
Prof. (Dr.) Debajit Jha is a Professor of Economics at the Jindal School of Government & Public Policy, O.P. Jindal Global University, Haryana. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics from the Centre for Economic Studies and Planning at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Prior to joining JGU in 2017, Dr. Jha taught economics at various esteemed government colleges in West Bengal under the West Bengal Education Service (WBES) and served as the Assistant Director of Public Instruction for the Government of West Bengal. His primary research interests include empirical growth and development economics.
Prof. Geeta Sinha
Prof. Geeta Sinha is an Associate Professor and Associate Dean of Admissions and Outreach at Jindal School of Government and Public Policy, O.P. Jindal Global University. She holds degrees from Sambalpur University, Xavier Institute of Social Service, the University of Sussex, and a Ph.D. from Oxford Brookes University. Her expertise includes gender and development, agribusiness, and international development, with extensive research and consultancy experience. She has worked on livelihoods, women's empowerment, and poverty alleviation across India, Bangladesh, and Nepal.
Dr. Shivangi Chandel
Dr. Shivangi Chandel is an Assistant Professor at Jindal School of Government and Public Policy, O.P. Jindal Global University. She holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Delhi and specializes in the study of political economy, international relations, and political theory. Her research interests include international development, public policy, and South Asian politics. Prior to this, he served as Ambassador to Bahrain during the complex geopolitical landscape of the Arab Spring.
