Admission Overview

The admission process for the SUNY Bachelor's Year 1 - STEM program begins with an online application through upGrad.com. Eligible candidates must have completed 10+2 from Science stream with a minimum aggregate of 2.7 GPA or 65% marks within the last two years. An English Proficiency Test is required, with minimum scores of TOEFL ≥ 85, IELTS ≥ 6.5, Duolingo ≥ 105, or PTE ≥ 61.

The selection process includes profile assessment and two interview rounds. Upon clearing these stages, students receive a provisional offer letter and can secure their seat with an initial payment. Students must also submit required documents including Class X and XII marksheets, school leaving certificate, statement of purpose, two academic recommendation letters, English proficiency scores, passport copy, digital photograph, and resume.

Stronger candidates may receive conditional offer letters from their preferred SUNY campus. To qualify for seamless transfer after Year 1, students must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 in each course and achieve an aggregate GPA of 3.0 or higher.
